August in numbers

August was a roller coaster of emotions. To start we went to Montreal’s Pride Parade, after Sandy & Junior confirmed their show in New York and with that we run to buy the tickets and do the visas to the USA to be able to see the most wanted show of our lives. Spoiler alert: even with all that we were not able to go, but that sad story will be in another post because August is still a happy month because in the end of the month we had ANOTHER Pride Parade, this time here in Quebec and we moved to our new place 🙂

TLDR: we lived three month in one.

Books

I read just 1 hour in August. I mean, I listened 1 hour from the seventh book of the series Pink Bean: Love without Limits. I confess that this plot is not getting me what’s making me ignore it a lot.

Podcasts & Songs

Now I not only listen to podcasts like a crazy person, but I also co-produce one with my beloved wife and two friends: Roberta e Isadora. So more than ever I am here to recommend podcasts to you. Listen to it!

Obviously my recommendation is my own podcast, but sadly it is in Portuguese, so if you have no idea what “Cadê Minhas Lésbicas?” means you can ignore it or recommend to a Portuguese speaker friend 🙂

Besides record, edit and publish a podcast I also was able to listen 56 hours of other people’s shows. My favorite episode is also a pt-br show: Gugacast: A Vida Imita a Arte: Meu Primeiro Amor.

I also listened to a total of 26 hours of music, and with the possibility of S&J concert, 95% of the time I was listening to them. So with no surprises the most played one was: Nada é Por Acaso – Sandy e Junior.

Writing this knowing I will not be able to see them.

Photos

Considering that I was in a Pride Parade, I didn’t take many photos, only 116. But here one direct from Montreal 🙂

Movies

In Pride Month what we do? That’s right, we watch Carol. The others movies don’t matter.

Hello there Cate Blanchett.

Exercises

I cycled 12 days, a total of 218km. The second best month, only behind June.

See you next time.
